Texas is wide. 890 miles wide. That is what we have to say about that.

Yup, we have been up at dawn and cranking through the miles. Because reasons. We will get more leisurely soon but wanted to get some road behind us. Some early pre-dawn dark driving and some foggy driving. Days are short!

Payoff one: We find ourselves at a pretty state park in the Louisiana bayou outside of Henderson, and we had ourselves a Cajun feast. Blackened catfish, shrimp Étouffée, Crawfish sampler, all very tasty!

From Yosemite to the bayou . . . we get around!😆
