Distractions

I haven’t posted for a couple of days. With so many friends and family in Minnesota, it just seems dumb to post about sunsets and tacos. We are incredibly sad about what’s going on. My goal with my posts is to steer clear of current events and just cover our travel, and so here’s just a selection of pics from our past few days in Baja for no particular reason except to maybe give you something to distract you for a couple of milliseconds. We continue to move south and oddly it has been cold for down here, like 56 and raining. Should be changing soon. We have had a couple of blips; getting stuck in sand and one of our group got a flat that we fixed quickly. Somewhere along the way our solar panel broke away and is gone (apparently a thing with our make and model) but we are finding a replacement here. Nothing serious, the sort of things that make good travel stories in time. People always give us a look about our Mexico travels and tell us to be safe in what they perceive as a dangerous place. We have experienced zero danger. The same cannot be said for Minnesota. Stay as safe as you can, we are thankful for the tranquility of Baja, the sun, the sea, the landscape, the people, food, drink, music, the things that make travel compelling to us. Peace.

We have experienced zero danger. The same cannot be said for Minnesota.
Now: the Southlands
Morning—and southward
Next stop: Twain country
South along the river
One more night in town
And then the plan went sideways
Now turn up the music
Keep driving south
