Bahía Concepción, Baja California Sur

Baja Nights

A waking dream on Bahía Concepción.
A waking dream on Bahía Concepción.

Some of this may be getting repetitive, I fear. Here’s the van, here’s the dog, here’s the beach, yeah yeah yeah. We will be exploring some new places soon, but honestly this just doesn’t get old. Being outside pretty much all the time in beautiful warm places feels like a dream. Intense feelings of gratitude and disbelief wash over me daily. We had to be intentional and work to get to this point, but we are also fortunate in so many ways. I guess it’s making the most of what we have at any given moment.

That in mind, here’s a few pics of our quiet evening on Bahia Concepcion, the glassy water mere steps from our van, new moon, stars above, a firepit and companions in the beach. A waking dream.

If you have even the slightest inclination to do things like this, start working on it today. Or maybe it’s a different type of dream. Lean in that direction with great intention and determination. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.
Now: the Southlands
Morning—and southward
Next stop: Twain country
South along the river
One more night in town
And then the plan went sideways
Now turn up the music
Keep driving south
