Minnesota

Minnesota: The Return!

Where we’ve been since leaving Minnesota last fall—roughly. Nearly 21,000 miles.

Yup we have landed again in the unfrozen north. Howdy friends and family! You’re the reason we’re here. ❤️ The kids will all be in MN for a few weeks too so it’s a roving family reunion. We will be, as usual, moving around as campgrounds require, a week here, two weeks there. Mostly in the Twin Cities but we will be up in Crosby for a couple of weeks, and taking a fishing excursion to Ontario as well. We hit the road to start exploring again mid-August this year, a bit earlier than before, but we have a lot to see yet!

Here’s a fun animation of where we’ve been since we left last fall. (Roughly.) It gets the mileage wrong; we have put on almost 21,000 miles since we left in September!

Thankful for every mile, and all the grand places and great people along the way.

Some places in random order: Salt Lake City, Raleigh NC, Nashville, Disney World, Four Corners, Yosemite, Memphis, Baja—twice!—Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, Barra de Navidad, Hill City, Tucson, Graceland, Asheville, Phoenix, Natchez, a lot of Texas, Capitol Reef, Sayulita . . . . We covered a lot of ground.

We have no plans to settle down yet, loving life on the road, with all the bumps along the way. Plans are still being drafted for the fall and winter, some places cozy and familiar, some wild and new. Thankful for every mile, and all the grand places and great people along the way.

For now, let’s party, Minnesota people! Uff da, doncha know. (See, we haven’t lost it yet.)

Now: the Southlands
Morning—and southward
Next stop: Twain country
South along the river
One more night in town
And then the plan went sideways
Now turn up the music
Keep driving south
